Guidance from NICE on fetal vesico-amniotic shunting for lower urinary tract obstruction supports entry of patients into the PLUTO trial!

Primary objective of  the PLUTO Trial - to determine if intrauterine vesico-amniotic shunting for fetal bladder outflow obstruction, compared to conservative, non-interventional care improves pre-natal and perinatal mortality and renal function.

The PLUTO Trial has now closed to recruitment, analysis will be conducted throughout 2011.
